She was the fourteenth child and the only child in her family born in America, after her parents and siblings immigrated from Switzerland. She moved to Logan, Utah when she was 18 months old after her father passed away. She was educated in Logan City Schools and completed nurses training at the Budge Memorial Hospital. She worked as a nurse throughout her life.
She married Harry I. Willmore on October 23, 1929 in the Logan Utah Temple. They made their home in Logan. They had four children, Harry, Jr.; Thomas, Joseph Gordon and Joyce. They liked to travel to Yellowstone National Park and spend time in the canyons, fishing and having picnics.
Clara showed genuine interest in others, seeing the best in them and positively touching the lives of everyone she knew. She had a special place in her heart for all of the little ones. Clara had a compassionate, listening ear that made you feel warm and cared for. She left a legacy of love, kindness and optimism. She valued her family , her church, and her friends. She liked to sew, embroider, read, work in her garden, fish, and spend time with family. Clara spent a lifetime in the service of others.
