RIVERDALE, UTAH - Clara P. Larsen, 74, passed away
after a prolonged illness, on August 22,2007. She was
born July 27, 1933, to Clifford James Peterson and
Virginia Rose Smith in Logan, Utah. She married
William L. (Bill) Larsen, July 11, 1956, in the Logan
LDS Temple.
She attended Logan High School. Bill and Clara settled
in Riverdale, Utah, where she was employed by the
Internal Revenue Service for more than 15 years.
She was active in the LDS Church and held a variety of
positions in Sunday School, Primary, Young Women and
Relief Society. She was serving as Compassionate
Service Coordinator at the time of her death.
She was a life-long and avid supporter of the Boy
Scouts of America. She received recognition for her
dedication and service including the District Award of
Merit, Wood Badge Beads and Silver Beaver.
She is survived by her daughter Pam (Don) Cressall,
Logan, UT; sons Michael L (Brenda) Larsen, Preston,
ID; Larry J (Jolette) Larsen, Chandler, AZ; brother
James C. (Carol) Petersen, Richland, WA; sisters Alice
Fedder, Ogden, UT; Betty Farr, Ogden, UT; and Joyce
Petersen, Palmetto, GA. She is also survived by 13
grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
A viewing will be held Saturday, August 25, 2007, at
1O:30 - 11:30 am in the Riverdale 3rd Ward, 1056 W.
4400 S., Riverdale, Utah. Funeral services will be
held at noon. Internment will be in the Logan City
Cemetery Saturday at 4:00 pm. Arrangements under the
direction of Allen-Hall Mortuary of Logan, Utah.
