Clara Jeanette Boles Monson

MILLVILLE, UTAH: Clara Jeanette Monson, 84, of Millville, died Saturday, March 14, 2009 peacefully in her sleep at her home with family at her side after a long, suffering battle with cancer.
She was born July 1, 1924 in Fairview, Montana the youngest of six children. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, two sisters and her loving husband.
Clara is survived by a son, Sheldon J. Monson of Millville, two brothers, Harold Boles and Wayne Boles both of Weiser, Idaho.
Clara was married to Edward Monson of Millville on February 5, 1945 where they made their home and worked on the family farm. Their love for each other and the extended family grew stronger with every passing year. Edward died in 1991. Clara is now with him. Once again they are together.
Clara loved the people of Millville who she became very close to over the years. She was a hard worker, cooking for workers on the farm, milking cows, working in the fields. She always had time for friends and family.
Clara always cared greatly for others, often taking food to them when they were sick and asking what she could do for them. Just before Clara died she looked at the people there with her and asked, “Who can I help next?”
We shall all miss her very greatly, everyday, every month, every year, until we get to be with her once again. Clara - We all miss you and love you very much.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 12:00 pm in the Allen- Hall Mortuary, Logan. There will be a viewing Tuesday evening from 6-8 pm and from 10:30 - 11:30 on Wednesday. Interment will be in the Millville Cemetery.
The family wishes to extend their thanks to Cache Valley Cancer treatment Center, Dr. Ali Ben-Jacob and his wonderful staff. Also thanks goes to all of the wonderful people of Alpine Homecare and Hospice who made her last days so pleasant and nice. Thank you to all of you from the family of Clara Monson.
