Clarence “Scott” Jensen
Beloved and devoted husband passed away on August 13. He was born June 11, 1940 and attended Logan, Utah schools before moving to California. He was preceded in death by his parents Fred and Grace Jensen, step-mother Cecelia Jensen, sister Lois and husband Rene Schenk, and sister Lona Tueller. He is survived by his loving wife Frances of 43 years, his mother-in-law Frances Clark, and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Mack (Maurine) Tueller, Gary (Lois) Norris, and Allen (Norma) Clark. He is also survived by several aunts and an uncle, cousins, and many nieces and nephews. He will be especially missed by Cheryl Phillips and her family, other family members, friends, neighbors and fishing buddies. Scott served honorably in the United States Navy from 1958-61. He was previously employed at Aerojet, the State Garage, and retired in June 1995 as a mill and cabinet supervisor for the CA Highway Patrol, after 28 years with the State. Scott was an avid hunter and fisherman all his life. He also was a master craftsman in woodworking, carving and building custom fishing rods. He was a member of the American River Rod and Gun Club. A viewing was held in Sacramento on Saturday. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, August 22, 2006 at the Logan City Cemetery. A viewing will be prior to services from 11:00 AM until 12:30 PM at the Allen -Cranney Mortuary, 420 East 1800 North in North Logan, UT. Memorial donations can be made in his name to the American Heart Association, the SPCA or a charity of the donor's choice. One big enough to keep.
