Clifford and Evelyn DeMonbreun
On December 1,2008, our beloved parents Clifford and Evelyn DeMonbreun will be forever together below the beautiful hills of Cache Valley.Evelyn was born in Chicago, Illinois on April 24, 1924 to Victoria and John Glowacki. Mom passed away on July 18, 2007 in Logan, Utah. Mom worked for Pacific Telephone Company in California as an operator for 25 years. After retiring she enjoyed volunteering with the Lions Club and Child Guidance Thrift Store and traveling with friends from the
Telephone Pioneers.
Clifford was born in Ashland City, Tennessee on June 12, 1925 to Ora Lee and Hubert DeMonbreun. Dad passed away On October 19th 2008 in Nibley, Utah. Dad served in the U.S. Army Infantry in WWII in North Africa and Italy.
Dad was a Tool and Die maker by trade and even after retiring, you could always find him in the garage working on a new project.
Evelyn and Clifford joined family members living in Cache valley and made their home in Nibley, Utah. They enjoyed many new friends and neighbors and loved the welcome they received in their new home.
Mom and Dad were married on July 3, 1943 and had 64 wonderful years together. They are survived by four children. Sandra Schultz of Logan, Utah; Patricia (Burly) Burlile of Mendon, Utah; Claudia DeMonbreun of Nibley, Utah; and James DeMonbreun of Buena Park, California; 4 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Graveside memorial services will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, December 1, 2008 at the Millville - Nibley Cemetery. Arrangements by Allen-Hall Mortuary.
