Colby James Duce died in Millville, Utah on October 18, 2010. He was born January 22, 1983 in Logan, Utah to Bart and Marie Duce. He is survived by his wife Tara, daughter Graycie, parents Bart and Marie, brother Brandon (Melissa), and sister Lindsey. He is also survived by in-laws Blake and Denise Swensen, Jenny Swensen, Nichole (Matt) Anderson, and Sheena Swensen. He also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Colby learned at a young age the value of hard work. He had several jobs ranging from milking cows to golf course maintenance to his real love of building things, specifically houses. He was currently working for Landmark Home Companies.
He married his high school sweetheart, Tara Swensen in 2004. They shared many camping trips together and brought their beautiful daughter, Graycie into the world in 2008.
Colby lived life to the fullest and always had a good joke. He could do things with a snowmobile that most people would have never dared. Colby loved to fish, and not just for the fish stories he told. He had a huge heart which belonged to G Bug (Graycie), and Dottie.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints,
and was very close to his spiritual feelings. He earned his eagle scout at the age of 13.
He was preceded in death by Grandparents Carl and Karla Duce, Owen and Florence Hall, aunts Karlene Duce Carlson, and Joanne Hall Anderson, uncle Richard Hall, and cousin Travis Hall.
There will be a viewing from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM on Friday, October 22, 2010 at the Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 East Center Street in Logan. Graveside services will follow at 1:00 PM in the Millville City Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.allenmortuaries.net
