Crystal Lee Reese

Crystal Lee Reese returned to the arms of her Heavenly Father on Feb 8, 2014 at Logan Regional Hospital, after a long and courageous battle with Cystic Fibrosis.
Crystal was born on Sept 8, 1986. She was the youngest of 3 children of Rick and VaLoy Reese of Benson, UT.
Crystal taught us how to be closer to our Savior through service and example. We are a much stronger family because of her.
Crystal loved her family and friends and enjoyed spending time with them. She has left huge shoes to fill with her legacy of patience, love and compassion. Crystal achieved many things in spite of her many health struggles. She married Lucas Yamane (they later divorced). She obtained her GED, attended Eagle Gate College to become a medical assistant.
Crystal is survived by her parents, Rick and VaLoy Reese; sister, Dani (Greg) Larsen; brother, Dusty (Carrie) Reese; Grandparents, Lee and D’On Reese, Betty Bankhead; nieces and nephews, Jamie, Austin, Abbie, Sydnee, Baylie, Brady, Colter, Carter. She is preceded in death by her Grandfather, Jay Bankhead.
The family wishes to express our deepest gratitude to the Doctors, Nurses, Respiratory Therapists, and staff at Primary Children’s Medical Center, University of Utah Hospital, and Logan Regional Hospital for their many years of compassionate service and care.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 AM on Thursday, February 13th at the Benson LDS Chapel, 3432 North 3000 West in Benson. A viewing will be held from 6-8 PM on Wednesday evening at Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 East Center St. in Logan and from 9:30-11:00 AM prior to services at the church on Wednesday.
