Cynthia Dawn Von Niederhausern, 60, died Saturday, May 8, 2010, in Bountiful, Utah. She was born October 13, 1949, in Logan, Utah to Alma and Cornelia (De Waal) Von Niederhausern.
She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She enjoyed canyon picnics, camping, swimming at Bear Lake, the Old Faithful Geyser at Yellowstone Park, decorating Christmas trees, and visiting with family. She loved birds, animals, and helping her dad fish. She really enjoyed her music and carried a radio everywhere she went.
Cynthia was a participant in the Special Olympics where she won a blue ribbon. She attended the American Fork Training School and graduated from the Training School Seminary. At the time of her death, Cynthia lived at the North Side Group Home , an Independent Living facility, in Bountiful, Utah.
Cynthia worked at the RHA Day Program as recycling papers and working in fabrics.
Cynthia was preceded in death by both of her parents, one brother Robert, and a sister Sheila. She is survived by her brothers and sisters: Alma, Richard, Bruce, Cornelius, Rudolf, Lamont, Hugh, Gordon, Marilyn, and Elizabeth.
She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Funeral services and a viewing will be held at the Logan 19th Ward Church, at 1255 N. 600 E., in Logan, Utah on Saturday, May 15, 2010. The viewing will be from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. with funeral services following at 12:00 p.m. with Bishop Ronald Godfrey conducting. Friends and family are encouraged to attend the celebration of her life. Burial will be in the Logan City Cemetery family plot.
