For many years he served on the Camp Lakeside Board of Trust-
ees, the District Board of Ordained Ministry, and the Board of Directors of Smoky Hill Public TV.
Dale loved to preach the gospel of love that Jesus taught, and many will re- member his ability to weave his own storied into his ser- mons. His knack of making people laugh with him was one of his strengths, and people always knew that he would listen to them.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Nanon (Bird) Clare. He is survived by his three daughters, Dr. Lisa Clare, DVM, Lori Cross (Kerry), and Linda Clare, and two grand- children, Molly and Eli Clare. Melody, Gary and Landon Head are his special family.
Burial will be in Banner Cemetery south of Sublette, KS. Funeral services will be posted when they have been arranged.
The family would like to thank the staff of Terrace Grove for their wonder- ful care of their father
