SMITHFIELD, UTAH: Daniel Lewis Creger, 52, of Smithfield, passed away peacefully at the Sunshine Terrace surrounded by his family o Thursday, July 1, 2013, of lung cancer.
Danny was born in Logan, Utah to Melvin Lewis Creger and Dorothy Wildman Bodrero on July 11, 1961. Danny married Julie Ann Hill and had five children. They later divorced. Danny was raised in Cache Valley and graduated from Logan High School. Danny worked at Nucor Steel up until his health declined. Danny was the #1 Pittsburg Steeler fan. He enjoyed watching football and basketball.
Danny was preceded in death by a son, Kasey, his father, Melvin Lewis Creger and good companion, Dice. Danny is survived by his children, Michael Creger; Jayson Creger; Shannon and Craig Hogan; Chelsey Creger; and a granddaughter, Reagan; siblings, Vicki and Keith Yeates; Patty Greenlee; Doug and Pam Creger; Teresa and Tracy Barton; Sandy and Clyde Johnson; his mother, Dorothy Bodrero and many nieces and nephews.
“I hope they have extra pickles and onions in Heaven” - Danny. Special thanks to Sunshine Hospice for all the love they showed our father.
Graveside services will be held Monday at 11:00 am in the Logan City Cemetery. Arrangements by Allen-Hall Mortuary.
