David Daines Miller peacefully passed from this life surrounded by his family on Sunday, July 15, 2018. Born to LaVell and Dorothy Daines Miller on October 9, 1946 he was raised in North Logan, Utah on the edge of the town where little boys could run free. His childhood was filled with chickens, bean fields, sports and family work/fun. He will long be remembered as a husband, father, brother, teacher, choir director, coach, hunter, and for his passion of religious conversations.
He was preceded in death by his parents and infant brother, Delmar. He is survived by his wife, Geniel Tingey Miller and their five children: Jeremy (Jeni), Julie, Justin (Natalie), Jodi (Brady) West and Jill (Jeremy) Burch – along with ten grandchildren and his two brothers and three sisters.
The family would like to thank the dedicated staff with CNS, especially Carol McDonald, for their service through the last years of his life. As well as Sunshine Terrace for the last months of his care and support through the last days of his life.
Funeral services will be at 11:00am on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at the Hyde Park LDS Stake Center (535 East 200 South). Viewings will be held at Allen Mortuary (420 East 1800 North, North Logan) on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm and before the funeral services from 10:00am to 10:45 am at the Hyde Park, Utah LDS Stake Center.
