Dean H Parker peacefully passed away at his home on May 9th 2019.
Dean was born April 3rd 1941 to Donald S Parker and Macel M (Hulse) Parker in Logan, UT. Dean grew up Wellsville, UT. and graduated from South Cache High School. On the day after graduating Dean joined the US Navy. He was proud to have given four years of service to his country. During his time with the Navy Dean learned and acquired his skill as a welder. Upon being Honorably Discharged he returned to Cache Valley where he met and married Kathleen (Davis) Parker in November of 1964. They moved to West Valley where the had two children; Keith of Clearfield UT and Susan (Rick) Teeter of Elba ID. His welding career led to a love of gunsmithing. What initially started as a hobby turned into a self taught profession and business, DP Machine.
Preceded in death by his parents. Survived by wife Kathleen, son Keith, daughter Susan, sister Linda (John) Olsen, nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, two nieces and one nephew.
A viewing will take place Wednesday, May 15, 2019, from 6 to 8pm at Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 East Center in Logan, and again Thursday morning from 9:30 to 10:30am prior to funeral services at the church. Funeral services will take place Thursday, May 16th, at the Wellsville 7th ward building, 700 South 100 West in Wellsville, beginning at 11:00am with interment to follow in the Wellsville Cemetery.
