LOGAN, UTAH: Debora Andrews Eskelson, 44, beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, left this earth peacefully on October 24, 2005,at the Logan Regional Hospital, exactly four years to the date her mother passed away. Debora’s daughter Jamie, and grandson Jaytin were at her side.
Debora was born June 28, 1961 in Logan, Utah to Claude K. and Rolane Walters Andrews. She was raised in Logan and educated in the Logan City School system. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Debora married Jerry Eskelson on June 7, 1978, in Cove, Utah. They were later divorced. They had one daughter, Jamie
Debora and Jamie were not only mother and daughter but they were also best friends. They confided in each other and did a lifetime of things together. Debora will surely be missed by all.
Debora was always a very hard worker. She worked for Herff-Jones, Inc. for 22 years before having to retire early because of health reasons.
Debora's trademark was a hat and her love was for animals, especially cats. If a sick or hurt animal crossed her doorstep she would nurse them back to good health and a lot of times would make her home theirs. Debora also liked the outdoors and one of her special times was when she was fishing with her brother.
Debora is survived by her father, Claude Andrews, Ogden; stepmother, Joyce Andrews, Ogden; daughter, Jamie Eskelson, Logan; grandson, Jaytin Erickson, Logan; sister, Kristie (Robert) Johnson, Logan; brother, Jeff (Michelle) Andrews, Wellsville;stepsister Lora (Jerry) Martinez, Roy; stepbrother Scott (Susan) Andersen, Clinton; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Rolane Andrews and her grandparents.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, October 27th, at noon at the Wellsville City Cemetery. Friends and family may attend her viewing at the Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 E. Center, Logan, from 10:30-11 :30 a. m. on Thursday. Condolences may be sent to the family and a life video tribute viewed at
