Debra Dahle Anderson
God saw her getting tired,
A cure not meant to be,
So he wrapped His arms around her,
and whispered:
“Come with Me.”
Debra passed away early Sunday morning October 9, 2011 at the Logan Nursing and Rehab with her mother, father, and sisters by her side.
She was born to Arlen and Gwennie Dahle on July 20, 1956 in Logan . She married Sid Nielsen and had two children: Amie Marie and Andee Lee. They divorced. Late in her life she met ElRay Anderson. They were married on Feb. 23, 2008 in the Logan Temple .
Debra’s life during the last 20 years has been accompanied with multiple health problems causing constant pain. Still, until the day of her passing, even though she could not get out of bed, when someone would ask her how she was, she would respond with: “I’m fine, is there anything I can help you with?” She would do without to see that someone in need had what they needed. If you were ever sick, or just didn’t feel well, Deb was the one you wanted around.
Debra was sorely missed at the Nibley trailer court where she had lived for several years. Her neighbors were always glad when she was well and was able to visit them; of course, she would have cookies to share. Deb held various jobs and made many friends while working at Thiokol, Del Monte, Mountain Farms, and 7-11. Her favorite things to do were doing pottery, drawing, baking and painting ceramics, spending time fishing, hunting and camping with family, and being around her three grandchildren who lived next door. They will miss their ‘nana’
Surviving her are her children: Amie Colvin and Andee Nielsen; grandchildren: Nicholas, Jordan, and Robbie Colvin; husband ElRay Anderson of Logan; her parents Arlen and Gwennie Dahle of River Heights; her two younger sisters: Kimberly Jensen of River Heights, and Cindy Crockett of Logan, and a sister-in-law Christine Dahle of Providence.
She was preceded in death by her ‘big brother’ Keith, a nephew Jonathan Koeven, and niece Viola Belle Jensen.
The family extends special appreciation to the many friends, physicians, and nurses for the countless hours of tender care and compassionate service provided over the years.
Funeral services will be held Friday, October 14, 2011 at the Allen Hall Mortuary, 34 East Center St in Logan , beginning at 11:30 a.m. A viewing will be held Thursday night October 13th from 6-8 pm and Friday from 10 -11:00 am at the Allen Hall Mortuary.
