D Howard Christoffersen
Dee Christoffersen born February 7, 1934, in Brigham City, Utah to Abel Ephraim and Letty Eunice Howard Christoffersen, passed away on July 10th 2007 at home. Dee grew up on a farm in Brigham City and loved the mountains, he loved hunting and fishing with his brothers, sons, grandsons and friends. He especially loved Cub River, his home away from home.
Dee married Ruthie Young after graduation from Box Elder High School. They had five children and were later divorced. He married Donna Miller Bodrero Jan. 14th, 1981, and they made their home in Logan. Dee was in partnership with ABC Construction of Brigham City. After moving to Logan he worked at USU until illness led to retirement. Throughout his life, he made many friends who were very important to him, as was his family. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.
Dee is survived by his children: Kathy (Manuel) Olivarez of San Antonio Texas, Val D (Wendy) Christofferesen of West Jordan, Kelly (Rhonda) Christoffersen of Brigham City, Kenny (Mitzi) Christoffersen of Willard. His step-children, Debra (Robert) Haas of Logan, Wendy (DuWayne) Dahle of Boise, and Brett Stuart of Mt Sterling. Dee has 23 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Sister-in -laws Pat Christoffersen of Logan, and Phyllis Christoffersen of North Ogden. He was preceded in death by a daughter Karen Shaw of Wellington Utah; his brothers VeNoy Christoffersen and Phil Christoffersen and a grandson, Braydon Christoffersen.
Graveside services will be held at the Brigham City Cemetery on Friday, July 13th, 2007, at 11:00 am. Condolences and thoughts may be expressed to the family online at
