Dellah Frances Hughes Judy

Our beautiful mother, Dellah Frances Hughes Judy, passed from this earthly existence at about 12:30AM on Jan. 13, 2007 in Paradise, Utah. She died peacefully after and evening of laughter and tears with many of her children and grandchildren. Born to Dellah F. Allison & Frank J. Hughes on March 16, 1923 in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Married Dec. 24, 1939 to Don W. Judy in Pocatello, Idaho. She is survived by her husband, Don W. Judy, 8 children & spouses, Don & Dottie Judy, Diana & Roy Diederich, Pat Williams, Bill & Michelle Judy, Susan & Ken Lambert, Jean Perkins, Christine & Paul Chase and Allison & Will Schaerr. 37 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. Preceded in death by son, Steven Judy & Son-in-law Daniel Williams. A faithful member of the LDS church, she served in the RS, primary, scouts and many years as a Temple worker. She was also an excellent speaker taking first place in the Western Regional Toastmistress at BYU. Mother made a beautiful home for our family, delicious meals and wonderful holidays. She had a quick wit and a wonderful sense of humor bringing joy to all our lives. She loved the beauty of Gods nature and enjoyed writing poetry. Her favorite hobby was her loving husband Don, married 67 years. We Love You Mother.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 17, 2007 at 1:00pm in the Paradise 2nd Ward Chapel, 9060 South 200 West, Paradise, UT. A viewing will be held on Tuesday evening Jan. 16 from 7:00-8:30pm, Murray 12th Ward, 363 E. Vine St. Murray, Utah and at the Paradise Ward Chapel on Wednesday Jan. 17 - Viewing 11:30- 12:30,. Burial at Paradise Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Allen-Hall Mortuary, Logan,UT.
