Husband, dad, grandfather, and great-grandfather, this is how your family felt about you. "It must have been cold there in our shadow. To never have sunlight on your face. You have been content to let us shine. You will always walk the step behind. We were the ones with all the glory, while you were the one with all the strength. We never once heard you complain. Did you ever know that you're our hero, and everything we would like to be. We can fly higher than an eagle, cause you are the wind beneath our wings. You will always be our example and in our hearts forever until we meet again. "
Interment was held in the Logan City Cemetery on Wednesday, September 2, 2009 with a graveside service and a military gun salute. Condolences may be sent to the family at
