LOGAN, UTAH: Delpha Lindley Miner, 94, did on Sunday, September 20, 2015 in Sunset, Utah.
She was born March 11, 1921 at Mt Sterling Utah (Wellsville) a daughter of Thomas Lowe Lindley & Elizabeth Bradshaw Lindley. Delpha was the baby of the family with three brothers and a sister. She was Educated at Wellsville Schools, South Cache & Utah State University. She got a degree as a secretary and worked at the University for 12 1/2 years. Delpha married Edward L Bowen Sr. they had seven children and later divorced. Delpha married Curtis L Miner March 11, 1983, they enjoyed working in the temple and he passed away in 1993.
Delpha was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and had a strong testimony of its truthfulness. Her greatest joy and accomplishment in life was her family and posterity. She is preceded in death by three brothers: Thomas B, Mark B, Arnold B; a sister Erma Lindley Archibald; and parents. Thomas Lowe Lindley & Elizabeth Bradshaw.
She is survived by her children, Edward Lindley (Mary); Stephen Leroy (Rhonda); Courtney Lee (Jean); Yvonne Lindley Sparrow (Norman); Jeffrey Leon (Shawna); Gary Thomas (Saundra); Clydell J. (Mayah). She is also survived by 32 grandchildren and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, September 26th at 11:30 am in the Wellsville Cemetery. There will be a viewing from 10:00 - 11:00 am at the Allen-Hall Mortuary. Condolences and memories may be shared online at
