DEL BYINGTON

BENSON - Delvon H. Byington, 65, passed away suddenly of a heart attack on October 1, 2005. He was born on Jan. 22, 1940 in Winder, ID. He was raised by his father Howard S. Byington and his adoptive mother Ivella Hutchison. He was married to Janet Perry 1965 - 1971 and to Cathrine Larsen 1973 - 1984. He was a certified welder and an industrial mechanic. At the time of his passing he was employed at the Live Stock Auction House in Smithfield, UT. He was a member of the American Paint Horse Association. He has traveled many places in his life including Idaho, Utah, and North Carolina. He is survived by his adopted mother Ivella Hutchison, four sons, Tommy Byington of Monticello, UT, John (Lola) Werner of Millville, UT, Jason Werner of Draper, UT, and Jerry (Angie) Byington of Hyrum, UT, two daughters, Gayelynn Leach of Boise, ID and Joyce Pham of Logan, UT, four brothers, Carl (Bonnie) Byington of Moses Lake, WA, Ross (Vicki) Byington of Benson, UT, Stephen (Sheila) Byington of Cape Coral, FI, and Dave Byington of Hyrum, UT, three sisters, Linda Kennington of FL, Marty (Doug) Bills of Parachute, CO, and Doralie (Bruce) O'Brien of Roseboro, N.C. He has thirteen grandchildren and one great grandchild. He is preceded in death by his father Howard S. Byington, his son Norman Byington, and his sister Eva Byington.He was a true cowboy and greatly loved the outdoors. He will always be greatly loved and missed. There will be a viewing on Thursday Oct 6, 2005 from 6 to 7pm with Memorial Services at 7:00 p.m. at the Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 East Center Street, Logan, Utah. Instead of sending flowers the family would greatly appreciate donations sent in Delvons name to the mortuary.
