Diane Connelly

"I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith" 2 Timothy 4:7

The fight is over! Diane Huppi Connelly is now able to be embraced by her husband, Alvin Lee Connelly, her parents, Melvin Abraham Huppi & Grace Foster, and so many loved ones who have passed before.

 Her body is now at rest. She peacefully passed away on August 18, 2024, having been blessed throughout life with loving family and friends. Her knowledge is certain that life and love continue after the body is at rest and the mortal fight is over. Her testimony of a loving Heavenly Father and Savior is strong and was demonstrated through her life's actions. She served others tirelessly and to the best of her abilities through callings in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, at school where she touched children's hearts and lives for 29 years, and in her family and community. She served others many times each day. Her goal and focus was always to show love and kindness to each person she contacted.

 This made it easy for people to love her, and Diane's family is very thankful to all who loved her and assisted her through her mortal journey. She held church callings in Relief Society, Young Women, and missionary service. She supported her husband and family with a love for family history.

Her interests include embroidery to bless others; fresh flowers and gardening; learning, which was demonstrated by her lifelong pursuit for knowledge; reading with book club friends; quilting to bless others; sharing her testimony and love; dogs; and traveling. She treasures the memories of her nephews going to her home and decorating her Christmas tree each year.

 She treasures the memories of "whopper Sundays" with her nephew and niece. She spent much time with all family members and cherishes each memory she has with them. There are too many memories to list each one.

Family who will miss her greatly include siblings Janean Huppi, Melvin and Denise Huppi, Jolynn Huppi Cornia, Darlene Huppi Harper, and nieces and nephews that love her intensely.  Please join us in celebrating her life at a viewing on Saturday, August 24 from 10-11:30 am at Allen Mortuary of North Logan (1800 N 420 E, North Logan). Please join us at the graveside service following the viewing at 12:00 pm at the Logan City Cemetery.
