On Sunday, August 11, 2024, our family said our last goodbyes to Dad, age 78. Dad was born in Phoenix, AZ. Dad graduated from Warrensburg High School in Warrensburg, MO. While still in College, Dad joined the Army and was soon stationed in Vietnam, completing two tours of duty. While in the Army dad worked in the burn unit as a Physical Therapist Assistant and was an assistant to the Chaplain. Dad injured his knee while in the Army, and Dad was sent to the Marine Hospital in New York City. While there, dad met the missionaries of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and while there he was baptized on November 23, 1968, into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. After Dad was discharged from the Army, he decided to attend Ricks College, in Rexburg Idaho. While attending Ricks, dad worked at the CO-OP gas station, and while he was putting gas in a car for a beautiful young lady, he struck up a conversation with her. A few weeks later the Teton Dam broke, and it was shortly after that Mom and Dad were married in the Idaho Falls Temple, on September 2, 1976. In 1985 Dad and Mom relocated to Southern Utah, where they raised 11 children. Dad loved coaching baseball, and he coached all his boys in Little League. Dad had a love for the outdoors, and his favorite place to take the family was to Pine Valley, Utah. Dad’s love of service to others, taught his family to love and serve others around us. Dad had a long bout with health issues that began over 25 years ago. Dad’s determination drove him to outlive the time the doctors gave him. Twelve years ago, Dad and Mom moved to Cache Valley in hopes that the cooler climate would help.
Dad is survived by his beloved wife Deanna B. Webster, just one month shy of 48 years. His children John (Tiffany) Audd of West Point, UT; Lee (Julianna) Audd of Clovis, CA; Kyle (Alyssa) Audd of Nibley, UT; Tammy (Lance) Sizemore of Hurricane, UT; Clay (Ariane) Audd of Millcreek, UT; Paul V. Audd of Logan, UT; Ron (Anna) Audd of Logan, UT; Andrea Audd of Logan, UT; and Leanna (Dylin) Bowen of Wellsville, UT. Dad is survived by his two sisters Dian (Ron) Farmer and Gail Crytzer of Rockledge, FL, and his only brother Paul (Paula) Audd of Jacksonville, FL. Dad leaves behind 18 grandchildren: Cameron, Megan, Nathan, Kacen, Lee, Christopher, Melissa, Jared, Aubrey, David, Scott, Ariana, Milan, Julia, Bella, Castle, Leo, and one precious grandson soon to be born.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lee Audd, his mother, Trudy Deaton Audd, his sister, Sharon Rose Audd, and his infant son, Don Joseph Audd.
