Donald James Hendrickson

Donald James Hendrickson, our beloved brother and friend, passed away on September 4, 2013 at Sunshine Terrace. He was 81 years old. Don was born November 22, 1932 in Fort Laramie, Wyoming. He was the oldest of two children born to Floyd James Hendrickson and Lily Idella Duguid. Donald’s early years were spent in Colorado with his mom or in Wyoming with his grandmother who played an important role in his childhood. Donald joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints while he was living in Olathe, Colorado. He moved to the Logan area about 15 years ago where he worked at Deseret Industries and Wendy’s. Donald enjoyed being around people and would greet people coming into Wendy’s and give quarters or candy to the children. He would make friends everywhere he went. He was taken care of in a very special way by the loving, tender community of Logan.
Funeral services will be held on Monday September 9, 2013 at 11:00am in the Nelson Funeral Home, 162 East 400 North, Logan. Friends may call at the mortuary on Sunday evening from 6 to8pm and on Monday morning from 9:30 to 10:30am. Interment will be in the Logan City Cemetery.
