DONNA MAE STAUFFER CROSBY (88) passed away February 3, 2025, at her home in Logan, UT.

Donna was born August 18, 1936, in Logan, UT to Marion and Mae Nielson Stauffer.

Donna grew up in Logan and Providence and attended Logan High School. After graduating high school, she attended Utah State University, where she earned her teaching certificate. It was at Utah State that she met Rod Crosby, who was working on a degree in botany and zoology.

Rod and Donna were married August 29, 1959, in Logan, UT. They were later sealed in the Logan Temple.

Following graduation, the couple moved to Superior, AZ, and then to Tucson, AZ where she worked as an elementary school teacher. It was in Tucson that Donna and Rod gave life to 3 boys: Brian, Jeff and Lee. They eventually moved to Logan, Utah where they put down roots and lived for 55 years.

Donna worked 25 years at the Bluebird Restaurant with family and friends. After retirement, she began working as a teacher’s aid and donated 15,000 hours to the Foster Grandparent program.

Donna loved her family, and she loved to serve.

Donna was a wonderful cook and loved to use fresh produce from Rod’s garden. She was an expert canner and preserved all kinds of fruits and vegetables. She was a socialite and enjoyed entertaining friends and family at her home.

Donna was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served in many callings, including Primary and Sunday School. She loved the Gospel and raised her family in the teachings of the Savior.
