Donna Lang Lamunyon

June 27, 1931 — June 3, 2016

Donna LaMunyon, a Logan resident died unexpectedly on Friday, June 3, 2016.  Donna was born January 27, 1931, in Utahn (Duchesne County), UT., to Herbert and Nellie Pearson Lang.  She met her husband Harold E. LaMunyon while attending BYU. They were married on Nov 17, 1951 in Grand Junction, CO.  The marriage was solemnized October 21, 1952 in the Salt Lake Temple. The couple moved to Durango, CO. in 1972 and she moved to Logan after Harold's death in 1986.
Donna served a Family History Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at the Logan Family History Center. She loved family history and would often relate names of past ancestors to her family. She loved her family and enjoyed having them come to visit her. She was very proud of her children's and grandchildren's accomplishments. 

She is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, brothers Ralph, John, Frank, Joseph, sister Arva Potter, sister-in-law Winona Bolton, brother-in-laws Elton Potter, Dale Bolton, Doug LaMunyon and Jack LaMunyon.

Donna is survived by 5 sons, Robert (Irene)  LaMunyon of Livonia, MI., Rodney (Karla) LaMunyon of Peoria, AZ., J. David (Jill) LaMunyon of Commerce City, CO., Donald (Doralynne) LaMunyon of St. Helens, OR., and James (Nancy)  LaMunyon of Richmond, UT.; a daughter, Janet (Robert)  Underwood of Edgewood, NM.; 11 grandsons, 8 granddaughters, 10 great grandsons, 9 great granddaughters, Sister-in-laws Shirley LaMunyon of Las Vegas, NV., and Ann LaMunyon of Montrose, CO.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Mount Logan Stake 565 East 100 South in Logan.  A viewing will be held prior to the funeral from 12:00-1:30 p.m.  She will be interred beside her husband at Greenmount Cemetery in Durango, CO.
