Donna Reeder Lauritzen (84) peacefully passed away, with her eternal companion holding her hand, on September 23, 2014.
Donna was born Christmas Day, 1929 to parents, Wesley and Irene Henwood Reeder, in Brigham City, Utah.
On February 12, 1949, she married Donald Rex Lauritzen. They were later sealed in the Logan Temple on February 12, 1958. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and enjoyed serving in the Primary.
Donna was a fulltime mother and homemaker. She loved flower gardening, music, embroidery, word find puzzles, and her "little dog" Bandit. Her greatest joy was in being Grandma to her 20 grandchildren and 26 great grand children.
Donna is survived by her husband Donald, of Hyrum; children: Kelly (Cindy), Hyrum, UT; Kenneth (Holly), Keiser, OR; Scott, Hyrum, UT; Karen Hepworth (Rick), Hyrum, UT; Steven (Tammy), Boise, ID; Lori Nevitt (Dan) Logan, UT. Sisters: LaRene Jacobson, and Emma Jean Price. Brothers: Leslie Reeder and Robert Reeder.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Merrill Reeder and Richard Reeder; Son-in-law, Clark Dattage; Grandchildren: Glen H. Dattage II and Joshua Steven Lauritzen.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon, Monday, September 29, 2014 at the Hyrum 13th ward chapel, located at 675 West 175 North in Hyrum, UT, with a viewing from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. prior to services. Burial will be in the Hyrum City Cemetery.
