“Who can say if we’ve been changed for the better? But because we knew her……we have been changed for good.”
Donna Kaye Peterson Olsen returned home to the arms of our loving Heavenly Father on Tuesday, August 5, 2014 in Logan, Utah, following an illness.
Donna was born on October 10, 1942, in Logan, Utah to Clayton and Blanche Lewis Peterson.
Donna was the epitome of service. She loved serving in her ward and especially loved the Primary, where she was known as the “Tootsie Roll Grandma”. She loved to cook and provided for all those around her, regardless of their need. We felt the light and love of our Savior through her.
Donna is survived by her loving husband, Ervin G; son, Darren (Diane) Olsen; daughters, DeeAnn (John) Stock; Laura (Gordon) Hubbell; Dawneen; a sister Caryn Fackrell; eight grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; one great-great- grandchild and Bosco Dog. She is also survived by many adoring nieces, nephews and friends.
The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Dr. Michael Stones, IHC Infusion & Wound Care Centers, Bridgerland Dialysis, the Sunshine Terrace Staff and Hospice.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages you to donate to your LDS Ward Missionary Fund in Donna’s name.
