Donna Vy Robison Oldroyd

RIVER HEIGHTS, UTAH: Donna Vy Robison Oldroyd, 85, returned to the arms of her loving Heavenly Father on September 15, 2010 due to complications of phenomena.

Donna was born on September 21, 1924 to William Adelbert Robison and Myrtle Utley Robison in Flowell, Utah. Married Ferris A. Oldroyd on August 27, 1943 in Pueblo, Colorado. The marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS temple. Ferris passed away on June 9, 1990.

Donna was a great wife, Mother, Grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was a life long member of the LDS church and held many positions in the River Heights 1st Ward where she lived for more than forty years.

She is survived by a daughter, Melanie Oldroyd of Logan, sons, Randy Oldroyd (Kandace) of Smithfield, Brad Oldroyd (Christy) of Farmington, and Bart Oldroyd (Tamara) of Millville; 12 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister Flora Peterson (Darwin), a sister-law Valda Robison, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ferris; a granddaughter, Keli; her parents, a sister, Nola Warenski; and brothers Norman, Winfred, Van, and Jack Robison.

A special thank you to Dr. Robert Nash for his kind care over the years. Also to the “Laughing Table” (Garnetta and Leorna), and the staff of Legacy House of Logan.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 20th at1:00 pm in the Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 East Center Street, Logan. A viewing will be held Sunday from 6 to 8 PM and from 12 to 12:45 on Monday Interment will be in the Providence/River Heights Cemetery.
