BRIGHAM CITY, UTAH: Dora W. Barkdull, 90, passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2007 in Brigham City.
She was born December 4, 1916 in Blackfoot, Idaho a daughter of Hans and Jesse Poppleton Weeding. She married Forrest D. Barkdull on October 27, 1942. He died in 1993.
She managed the Edith Bowen School lunch program until her retirement. She lived in Logan all but the last four years when she moved to Brigham City to be near her daughter.
She is survived by her daughters, Diane and Scott Wilcox, Bend Oregon; Julie and Kent Nielson, Brigham City; grandchildren, Kelly Ann and Kris Jamieson, Portland, OR; John Scott Wilcox, Bend , OR; Kirk Anthony Nielson, St. George; Kati Diane Nielson, Brigham City; She is also survived by the following whom she loved like her own children, Jan and Scott Daines, Scott and Pam Bitters, David and Lauren Bitters, Mark Bitters, also a sister, Norma and Grant Allgaier
a very special nephew, Wayne and Shirley Watson. She was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters and niece, Alain Bitters.
Funeral services will be held Monday, April 23, 2007 at 12:00 pm in the Allen-Hall Mortuary. Friends may call one hour prior to services . Interment will be in the Hyrum City Cemetery.
