Dorothy May Gordon Peterson

Logan, Utah: Dorothy May Gordon Peterson, 86, died Friday, January 16, 2009 at the Sunshine Terrace.
She was born Feburary 4, 1922 in Hamburg, Iowa, the daughter of Edward Gordon and May Hanson.
She married Woodrow B. Peterson on March 24, 1940 in Preston, Idaho.
Dororthy was employed by Logan Regional Hospital. After her retirement, she returned to the hospital to volunteer. She made many friends there.
She is survived by her children: Gordon B. (Marilyn) Peterson of Rexburg, Idaho and Linda P. (Paul) Olsen of Logan, Utah. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and a great-great-granddaughter.
A family memorial service will be held.
The family will welcome friends at a graveside service to be held on Friday, January 23,2009 at noon in the Logan City Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Allen-Hall Mortuary. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.allenmortuaries.net
The family would like to thank the staff at the Sunshine Terrace Wing 3, for the care they gave Dorothy over the last few years.
