Douglas "Doug" Borlase, 92, of Logan, UT; Twin Falls, ID; and Las Vegas, NV, left this earth on March 7, 2007, in Logan, UT. He joined his loving wife, Ruth, who passed away in 2002. Doug married Ruth Petersen on Feb. 4, 1936, in the Logan L.D.S. Temple. They were parents of 4 children: Richard "Rick" (Sandy) Las Vegas, NV; Jack (Lynette) Havasu City, AZ; Sydne Winborg (Larry) Hyde Park, UT; and Linda Smith (David), Nucla, CO. They shared 8 grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren. Doug was born in Lehi, UT on June 7, 1914, the son of John Albert Borlase and Myrtle Rozsa Borlase. Doug's older brother, Cecil John, preceded him in death. Doug graduated from Logan High School in 1932. He started in his plumbing career in Logan working for Palmer Plumbing, then along with Bill Anderson, they formed Anderson-Borlase Plumbing, also in Logan. In 1942 they moved to Twin Falls, ID and with Bill Anderson, they formed A&B Plumbing which operated until 1985. He was a founder and past president of the Blue Lakes Country Club in Twin Falls. Doug and Ruth loved family, friends, dancing, traveling and never being apart. They loved golf and everywhere they traveled, they went with friends and met new friends on the golf course.

Memorial Services will be Sat, March 10,2007, 12:00 noon at Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 East Center St. Logan, UT. Interment will be in the Logan City Cemetery.
