Ella Julson

April 9, 1927 — February 21, 2012

Ella Mae (Donohoo) Julson peacefully returned home to her Heavenly Father February 21, 2012.

She was a few weeks short of being 85 years old.  Born on April 9, 1927 in Mountain View, Wyoming, she resided in Cache Valley for most of her life.  She married Ralph Julson June 11, 1949 and he preceded her in death November 17, 1976 leaving her a widow for 35 years.

She was fiercely independent and continued working diligently into her 70's to support herself and those family members who needed her help.  She lived in Smithfield, Utah for 53 years and loved being part of that community.  She was a member of the LDS church and was well cared for by fellow ward members.

She is survived by her daughter Cindy Coppel (Rich), sons Dee (Laurel), and Lynn, 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, siblings David Donohoo (Dolores), Eldon, Karen Skabelund (Max) and sister in law Margaret Donohoo.  Besides her husband those who preceded her in death include her parents Dewey and Mary, siblings Ross and Barbara and 4 grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held in her honor Monday, February 27, 2012 at noon in the Smithfield LDS chapel at 675 West 200 North, Smithfield, Utah.  There will be a viewing between 10:30 - 11:30 am prior to the service at the same address.  Condolences may be sent to the family at www.allenmortuaries.net

The family would like to express their sincere thanks to those in the Smithfield 4th ward and the medical community for the care and love that was shown in her declining years.  Words cannot adequately express our appreciation and gratitude to those who faithfully watched over her.  May God bless each and everyone of you for all that you have done to help her in any way!
