Our dear mother, Elva C. Knowles, departed this life on October 17th 2013 in her sleep. She was 96. We are certain in our faith that she is joyous and in the company of the two young sons she lost and her husband Howard.
Born in Richmond, Utah, April 10th 1917. She lived in Logan, Utah; Shoshone, Twin Falls and Boise Idaho. She is survived by her daughter Eleanor Peugh of Boise, ID; Lloyd Knowles of Springville, Utah; 12 grand children; 27 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Her friends knew her for her interests in music (Sweet Adeline’s & the Twin Falls Music Club); golfing; travel and cruises; and her beauty shop Elva’s Hair Fair.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2013 at 1:00pm in the Logan City Cemetery. Friends may call at the Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 East Center, on Saturday morning from 11:00am till 12:30pm prior to the graveside.
