Emma Wimmer Miller
HYRUM, UTAH: Emma Wimmer Miller, 86, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Mother's Day May 13th 2007.
Born March 3, 1921 in Neola, Utah to Acel and Dora Little Wimmer. She was one of nine children. She was raised in Logan Utah, and attended Logan schools graduating from Logan High School in 1938. She later graduated from LDS Business College.
She married Lynn R. Miller on January 23, 1941 in The Logan LDS temple and assisted him as he ran the family meat business.
She was a mother and a homemaker, and considered these roles her greatest accomplishments. She loved her family and served them unselfishly throughout her life. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints, and served in many positions including The Relief Society and Primary presidencies. She later served a mission to the Washington D.C. Temple and it was an experience she greatly treasured. She served as a temple worker in The Logan Temple for many years.
She was a member of the Hyrum Civic Club, The Hyrum Literary Club and Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. She developed many great friendships in Hyrum that have lasted throughout her life. She was preceded in death by her husband who died May 20, 1973, and a Granddaughter Erin Miller

Scott Miller (Chris), Hyrum, UT: John Miller (Vicki), Park City, UT: Bruce Miller, (Lisa), Mendon, UT: Ted Miller (Allyson), Providence, UT: She has 21 Grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be at noon Wednesday May 16, 2007 at The LDS Church located at 95 North 400 West Hyrum, Utah. A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday May 15, at the Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 East Center Logan Utah, and at the church prior to funeral service from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m. on Wednesday.
