Ervin Clark Anderson

November 5, 1928 — November 13, 2010

PROVIDENCE, UTAH: Ervin Clark Anderson, 82, passed away November 13, 2010 in the house where he was born.

He came into this world on November 5, 1928 to Hiram B. and Rachael S. Anderson in College Ward Utah.

Ervin grew up on the family farm and graduated from South Cache High, where he played on the basketball team.

On April 30, 1955 he married Shirley Mae Hensley, his eternal companion.

He continued to work along side his father on the farm enjoying a simple yet rich life. He also retired from Cache County School District where he worked for many years as a school bus driver. He was affectionately known by the children as ‘Swervin’ Ervin.’

Ervin spent his life quietly helping others. He exemplified ‘love thy neighbor as thyself.’ His big heart reached out to all and his love will forever encircle his family.

You could always count on his quick wit and sense of humor, accompanied by a sparkle in his eye.

He is survived by his 5 children; James L. Anderson, Daniel W. (Ruth) Anderson, Cindy (David) Stettler, E. Todd (Dixie) Anderson, Darcy H. Anderson, 19 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Some of his last words were ‘it’s Heaven on both sides.’

The family would like to thank Dr. Michael Stones for his compassion and care given towards Ervin.
