LOGAN, UTAH: Euarda Waite Zollinger, 95, long time resident of Logan, Utah, passed away, April 21, 2010 of natural causes from old age. She was born on January 22, 1915 in Hyde Park, Utah to Lilian and Wallace Waite. She married Leroy H. Zollinger on November 17, 1935 at the Logan Temple in Logan, Utah. During their marriage, they lived in College Ward and Logan, Utah. Leroy preceded her in death on March 21, 1979. She always spoke about Ron Plowman as being a special friend. They spend 10 years together and had fun by being involved in community activities.
Euarda was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she served in many capacities, including primary, relief society and a mutual teacher. She once stated "I believe in the church and honor my religion. I know Jesus Christ has a good place waiting for me in Heaven".
She is survived by her daughters, Kaylene (Jerry) Hackworth and Vicki J. Zollinger. Her sisters, Valate Satterfield, Virginia Booth, Evadean Booth, Elaine Zollinger, Bobbie (Ed) Butterfield,Sonja (Richard) Miller and her brother, Wally (Rose) Waite. She was also survived by numerous nieces and nephew whom she loved as her own. She was preceded in death by her sister, Louise Lauriski and brother, Victor Waite.
The family will meet with friends and relatives from 11:00 am to 12:30pm Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at the Allen-Hall Mortuary in Logan. A graveside service will follow and be held at the Logan Cemetery at 1:00pm.
