Eulalia A. Stauffer
Eulalia A. Stauffer, 92 died at Legacy House of Logan on Tuesday, February 14, 2006. She was born on August 16, 1913 in Richmond, Utah a daughter of Louis and Julia Anderson, and was the third child of four children. She graduated from North Cache High School where she was a cheerleader, participated in drama, and many other activities. She moved to Grand Island, Nebraska with her family where she attended Grand Island Business College. She then moved to Logan, Utah and worked at Utah State University for nine years. In 1938 she married Harry B. Miles in the Logan temple, and in 1944 their daughter Kaye was born. In 1947 Harry was killed in a hunting accident and she then returned to work at the University. In 1958 she married Norman E. Stauffer and moved to Providence, where she lived for 45 years. Her daughter Kaye passed away unexpectedly in 1978. She retired form Utah State University in 1979 with 40 years of service. Her husband Norman passed away in 1999.
She is survived by a son-in-law Gary (Madalyn) Neilson, West Valley City; a stepson Norman (Jaleen) Stauffer Jr; Bountiful; four grandchildren, Norman Neilson, West Valley City; Blake (Kim) Neilson, West Valley City; Carrie (Neil) Dabb, Logan; and Jeff (Jill) Stauffer, Oregon; and 14 great grandchildren.
A brother, Harris Anderson, two sisters Blenda Jardine and Elaine
Johnson and a grandson Rodney Stauffer preceded her in death.
She loved chocolate, the color purple, and hanging out with her friends. We will miss you Grandma!
Family and friends may call between 10:30 a.m. and noon on Saturday February 18, 2006 at the Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 East Center Street, Logan. A brief service will be held at noon at the Mortuary Chapel. Burial will be in the Smithfield Cemetery. Condolences may be extended by going to
