Faye Goodwin

Faye Goodwin passed away on April 13, 2017 at the Sunshine Terrace. She was born on July 29, 1932 in Trenton, Utah, the daughter of Ray and Gwen Winn. She married Rex D. Goodwin on December 23, 1948. They were married for 62 years until his passing. She was raised in Trenton Utah, when she married Rex they settled in Cornish, and finally Lewiston.
The most important thing in her life was her family. She had 4 kids Janice (Mark) Martindale, Blake (Laurel) Goodwin, Mike (Emeline) Goodwin, Shauna (Mike) Jones. She also had 8 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 1great-great grandchild. Her greatest joy was spending time with them.
Faye had a great love of animals, especially horses and dogs. She always had a dog that she considered a member of the family. She was an avid gardener, and had beautiful gardens and flower beds. She was a caring, and loving mother, grandmother, and friend. She will be dearly missed.
She was preceded in death by husband Rex Goodwin, daughters Shauna Jones and Janice Martindale, siblings Rex Winn, Art Winn, Shirley Nielsen, Grandson Troy Goodwin and great- grandson Shawn Goodwin
The family thanks Sunshine Terrace staff and volunteers for taking such good care of her.
Funeral services will be held at on Monday April 17th at Lewiston 1st ward church house. Viewing will be 10:30am, service at 12:00pm. Burial will be in Lewiston cemetery.
