Florence Mae Greaves

Florence Mae Perry Greaves, 96 left this earthly life peacefully Monday, October 2, 2023 at The Legacy of Logan.

Florence was born July 18, 1927 in Mound Valley, Idaho. She is preceded in death by her mother and father Henry and Eleanor Perry, 8 siblings, and her beloved husband, Jerald W. Greaves. We are happy for the reunion they have been able to have and look forward to being with them someday.

Florence had a long and good life, but not without hardships, losing her father at a young age of 9 years old and being separated from her Mother until her high school years. Florence was a beautiful, self-taught seamstress, and enjoyed working at JCPenny for more than 40 years. She enjoyed gardening, handwork, and being around her family.

Jerald and Florence lived in Preston, Idaho for many years before they moved to Logan and resided there for more than 60 years. Florence leaves behind 2 daughters, Marianne (Marcus) Taylor and Pam (Dale) Hadfield, along with 6 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

The family would like to extend love and appreciation to all those who have helped take care of her at The Legacy House for the past 5 years and Sunshine Hospice for their recent and loving care.

Funeral services will be held at the Allen Mortuary of North Logan, 420 E. 1800 No. on Monday, Oct. 9, 2023 at 1 pm with a viewing from 12:00-12:45 PM.
