Florence F. Heck, 98, peacefully passed away on Sunday, October 25, 2015 at her home in North Logan.
She was born October 16, 1917 in Minneapolis, MN to Adam and Mary (Zagulski) Gozola. She was the 6th child born in this loving family of 10 children. She attended William Penn grade school, Patrick Henry Jr. High and North High School all in Minneapolis. She worked for Honeywell Corp. in MN. In 1953 she married the love of her life Russell J. Heck. He preceded her in death in 2006. Together they had one child Christopher J. Heck.
She was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church in Mpls. and St. Thomas Aquinas in Logan. Over the years in MN, she was very involved with the church and assisted with numerous fundraising events and was an active member of the Dominic Club. Through the Christian Foundation for Children, she sponsored a child from El Salvador until she graduated high school.
Her physician Dr. Jeffery Huffman provided years of excellent care and Cache Valley hospice provided assistance with her care in her last month. The family gives them and everyone else who cared for Flo their greatest gratitude. We will remember her smile, her warmth, her energy, her love for life, family and friends.
