LOGAN: Florine Emma Logan, 86, passed away June 6, 2014 at her home in Logan. Florine was born June 10, 1927 to John and Pearl Sprinkle in Dahinda, IL. She spent her growing up years in Galesburg, IL. She had 3 brothers: John, Kenneth, and Robert; and 2 sisters: Gennevive and Pearl.
She married John Chester Logan, Jr. on November 26, 1947 in Omaha, NE where they raised their family of 3 sons and 3 daughters. They were married for eternity in the Salt Lake City Temple in 1967.
She served in different callings in the LDS church including side by side with her husband as he served as Bishop in Lake Wales, FL before settling in Logan, UT. Florine and John shared 64 years together on this earth and now will share eternity together.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her 3 brothers, her 2 sisters, her daughter Judy Marie Kay, her husband John, and two grandsons John Logan, IV and Timothy Logan.
She is survived by her sons Alvln Morse of Ft. McCoy, Florida, John Logan, III (Glenda) of Washington State, and Roger Alan Logan (Rebecca) of Colorado. Her daughters Sally Jean Fuoss, who lived with Florine at her passing, and Brenda Joyce Russell (Thomas), several grandchildren,
great grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and great great-great grandchildren also survive her.
She will be laid to rest next to her husband at Logan City Cemetery. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Allen-Hall Mortuary Chapel located at 34 East Center Street in Logan with a viewing prior from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Condolences may be expressed at
