Floyd Seeholzer Wilhelm, 93, died Wednesday, February 27, 2008, at Logan Regional Hospital, from causes incident to age.
He was born May 18, 1914 in North Logan, Utah and was the sixth child of four brothers and two sisters born to Louis E. and Lydia Seeholzer. He attended elementary school in North Logan and North Cache High School in Richmond, Utah. He grew up on the family farm in North Logan. He worked with his father repairing cars and in the blacksmith shop located on the farm.

With the opening of Thiokol Research and Development Plant, he started working for them on the development and building of the Minuteman rocket engines. Due to his past experience, he received an engineer's rating. After final development of the engine, the project was completed.
He accepted a job with Schreiber Food, preparing for the opening of the plant. He was in charge of the boilers and refrigeration until his retirement in May 1977. He has served on the Cache County Senior Citizen Advisory Council.
