Garold "Gary" Fisher

June 7, 1930 — December 9, 2012

Garold “Gary” B. Fisher was born on June 7, 1930 in Preston, Idaho to Susan Baker and George Fisher. He was the youngest of five children. He passed away on December 9, 2012 at the Logan Regional Hospital.
Gary married Patty Campbell in the Logan Temple in 1949. They have three sons, Blair Gary (Tami), Donald (Patience), and Ed (Lisa) Fisher, 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Gary had two sisters and two brothers, Jack, Donald, Annabelle and Barbara. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers and sisters and his son, Blair Gary Fisher.
Gary spent his entire life growing up in Oxford, Idaho and farming at the family ranch which has been in the Fisher family for over a century nestled below his Oxford Mountain.
In 1961, Patty and Gary moved their family to Clifton, Idaho while still running the ranch.
In 1981, Gary received his real estate license and in 1983 received his broker license. There were only two realtors in Franklin County at that time. Gary was a Real Estate Broker / Owner of Bonneville Realty, and a certified appraiser in Idaho and Utah. He enjoyed his work and made many friends. He had the same office in Preston, Idaho for 50 years. He loved interaction with other people.
Gary has been active in the LDS Church serving in various ward callings, including high priest teacher, high priest counselor, MIA President, Ward Clerk and Dance Director.
He was also a civic leader and was Franklin County Farm Bureau President for many years and also on the Idaho State Board of Farm Bureau. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his family and friends. And most of all he loves his sweet wife Patty and his family.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 15, 2012 at the Allen-Hall Mortuary Chapel, 34 East Center Street in Logan. A viewing will be held prior to services at the mortuary from 9:30 to 10:30 AM. Interment will be in the Smithfield City Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.allenmortuaries.net
