LOGAN - Garth Clark Page, 79, passed away Thursday, December 15, 2011, at the Sunshine Terrace in Logan. He died peacefully, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Wilson Lane, UT, on October 31, 1932, the son of William Russell Page and Lena Bardella Barney. He was one of eleven children, five of whom are still living.

He graduated from South Cache High School and attended Weber State University.

He married Cleo Harris in the Logan LDS Temple on June 5, 1952. They had five children.

He served in the US. Army in Germany during the Korean conflict. He worked at Utah Defense Depot in Ogden for 37 years. After his retirement, he spent his time gardening, fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, two sisters, one great-grandson, and his father-in-law.

He is survived by his wife Cleo, their children Beverly Jean (Randy) Johnson, of Benson, UT; Brent Clark Page, of Logan, UT; Laura Lee Clark, of Newnan, GA; LaDawn Page of Logan, UT; Valerie (Chad) Babcock of Syracuse, UT; seven grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. Also surviving are his brothers and sisters: Calvin (Rose Marie) Page, of Logan, UT; Merrill (Ellen) Page, of Logan, UT; Beth Lewis, of Leeds, UT; Joan Arthur, of Tigard, OR; Judie (Dennis) Speth, of Mt. Home, ID.

He was a High Priest in the Logan 7th Ward. He served in the Sunday School Presidency, the Young Men's Presidency and as the ward's Athletic Director.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, December 20, in the Allen- Hall Mortuary, 34 East Center St., Logan, UT. Friends may call from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Monday evening, December 19, and from 10:00 to 10:45 am prior to services at the mortuary. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.allenmortuaries.net .

The family would like to express thanks to the staff at Logan Regional Hospital and Sunshine Terrace for their loving care of Clark.
