Preston, Idaho: Gary Edward Bodrero, 72, passed away on Sunday, June 10, 2012 at the Franklin County Transitional Care Center. He was born April 24, 1940 in Logan, Utah the eldest of five children to Edward T. and Savona Naylor Bodrero. He was taught the value of working hard by his father, he loved agriculture and farming and pursued that throughout his life. He also had his own trucking business.
In 1981 he married the love of his life, Dorothy Ann Wildman in Preston, Idaho.
He was employed at Morton Thiokol and then he worked at Lowe’s in Logan. He and Dorothy traveled to California, Montana and places in Idaho quiet often with friends and family. He and father traveled to Hawaii to study sugar cane and how the sugar was processed. Because they had raised sugar beets. He also took pride in his sweet corn that he grew for Delmonte
We wish to extend our gratitude to the Logan Nursing & Rehab. Center for their care of Gary and also the Franklin County Nursing Home for their devoted care.
There will be a small Memorial Service on Thursday, June 14, 2012 AT 12 Noon, at Allen Mortuary Chapel, 420 East 1800 North, North Logan where friends & family may call prior to the service from 10-11:45 a.m. Interment will be in the family plot at the Logan City Cemetery. Military honors will be offered by the Smithfield American Legion Post #58.
