Logan, Utah: Gary Robert Morrill, 49, passed away unexpectedly from heart failure on March 6, 2013. Gary was born in SLC, Utah on July 30, 1963 to Darlene and Milo Morrill.
Gary graduated from Jordan High School in 1981. During those years he achieved his Eagle Scout. He became a pharmacy technician and attended Utah State University to obtain his degree in wild life biology. Gary married his best friend and soul mate, Kimberly Roberts, on April 17, 1992. They had been married 21 years. They traveled they United States and enjoyed the great outdoors together.
Growing up, Gary spent much of his childhood years with family and friends on the ‘Morrill Ranch’ in Torrey, Utah. He was blessed with a gift for carpentry which could be seen throughout their home. Additionally, he had a love and a passion for wild life conservation, especially for the polar bears.
Per Gary’s wishes, his corneas were donated to the Moran Eye Center at the University of Utah School of Medicine so others may see again. This priceless gift is just one example of Gary’s genuine kindness and giving heart. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He leaves behind his loving wife, Kimberly, his sweet mother, Darlene, his brothers and sister, Dave (Rhonda), Jeff (Peggy), Lynette (Kirk), Dean (Nancy), and many nieces and nephews. Gary has been reunited with his dear father, Milo, in heaven.
A celebration of Gary’s life will be held at Alpine Church (395 South Main Street, Logan, Utah) at 3pm on Saturday, March 16, 2013. Condolences may be sent to the family at
