Gayle P. Baker

February 2, 1945 — May 5, 2011

Paradise- Gayle J. Pulsipher Baker, 66, passed away peacefully at home from cancer on May 5, 2011. Mom was tired of all the wet weather we have had this spring, so it was only fitting that it was one of the first warm sunny days that we've had with robins chirping in the background that she chose to leave us.
Born February 2, 1945 in Logan, Utah to Duane Early and Phoebe Richman Jones. Married Richard Lee Pulsipher (deceased) June 12, 1964. Marriage later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. Married Osmer Nyal Baker August 4,1997.
She attended schools in Paradise and Hyrum. She worked at Whites Trout Farm, and Schriebers Food, retiring from Schriebers after 18 years.
She is survived by her husband Osmer, children Blake (Jodie); Avon, Irene (Mark) Vandersteen; Woods Cross, Jerry (Teresa), Smithfield. Granddaughters Mikaela and Hannah Pulsipher, Avon, Erika and Rachel Vandersteen, Woods Cross. Her granddaughters were the apples of her eye. Brothers Courtney (Loni) Jones and Max (Judy) Jones, Sister Reta (Cordell) Pulsipher, Brother-in-law Reed Glenn, Sisters-in-law ReNee Sorensen, LuDean (Rudy) Bonnell, Janet Pulsipher, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Richard, infant daughter Robyn Lee, parents, brother Glade and his wife Linda, and sister Ladeane.
Funeral services will be at noon on Tuesday May 10th at the Paradise 1st/4th ward chapel 155 East 9400 South (new church building), with Bishop James Clawson conducting. A viewing will be held on Monday May 9th from 6-8pm at Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 East Center and at the church from 1O:30-11:30am prior to the services. Interment will be in the Paradise City Cemetery. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the many family members, friends, and neighbors for all they have provided, with a special thanks to her doctors, nurses, and aides for the loving care of our mom during her illness.
