On Nov.28 1949 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple
For 35 years he was a skilled brick mason and took great pride in his work, but health issues forced him to find other employment. He then managed several mobile home parks in the Salt Lake valley until he retired. He and Beryl moved to Smithfield in 2005 to be closer to the children and grandchildren.
He was the proud father of five children, 13 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren.
He was a life long member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He and Beryl were temple workers in the Ogden LDS Temple. He always worked hard to have a very nice yard, with many beautiful flowers. Later he was very crafty, and all his friends had custom key chains, dream catchers, and later planters and bird houses decorated with stone, a skill learned from his father.
He was preceded in death by a son, Wade, and in May of this year his wife Beryl. They are together again!
Survivors include a son, Ronald (Sherilyn) Kohler and three daughters, Deborah (Steve) Allen, Betty (Leland) Naylor, Terri (Aaron) Bowles, and two siblings Dale (LaPreal) Kohler, Elaine (Ralph) Johnson
