Glenda Lee Nesbit, beloved wife, mother, daughter and sister, returned to her Father in Heaven on Monday, May 19, 2014 after a long battle with cancer. She was born on October 23, 1962, to Dale and Deanna Clayton Firth in Tremonton, Utah. She grew up in Bothwell, Utah and graduated from Bear River High School. She attended Utah State
University where she met Daniel A. Nesbit. They were married on July 1, 1980, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Together they raised three sons while Dan finished his schooling at Utah State. Glenda had a zest for life and thoroughly enjoyed watching her sons in all of their school activities and sporting events. She was involved with every part of their lives from track meets to soccer, baseball, paintball and volleyball.
She would jet ski, shoot guns and anything else that her family was doing. She loved “her boys”. Glenda loved doing yard work and keeping her home a happy place. She loved to travel and see exciting places with her husband. She was active in her church callings and enjoyed doing things for other people. She was never content just sitting
around, she was always busy doing special projects for someone else or spending the day doing things for her family.
Glenda worked for USU in the Army ROTC department. She loved organizing events and coordinating the classes and requirements for all of the cadets.
She is survived by her husband, Dan, sons Justin, Tyson and Conner; her mother Deanna (Brad) Frank of Elwood; her siblings Tonya (DelRay) Woodruff of Tremonton; Jeff (Lisa) Firth of Tremonton; Teresa (Paul) Wood of Elwood; Mary (Todd) Johnson of Riverside; Nichole (Jeff) Isaacson of Ramsey, Minnesota; Natalie (Sid) Soria of Farmington; Amy (Danny) Despain of Stansbury Park. She was preceded in death by her father Dale in 1978.
