Glen was the oldest son followed by George Davis of Anchorage, Alaska, Marie Farnes of Ogden, Utah, Ronald Davis of Springville, Utah, Wayne Davis of Millville, Utah and step-sister Frances Kay Carlson of Ogden, Utah.
At the age of nine, Glen was baptized in the Logan Temple. Glen graduated from Logan High School with the class of 1947. While in high school, he was active in the R.O.T.C. After graduation, he enlisted in the army serving for 3 years followed by 2 more years in the National Guard.
Glen then found an orange and black Plymouth convertible he was fond of while working at Standard Oil in Pocatello, Idaho. In 1955, Glen married Elmoyne Hoge in the Logan Temple. Standard Oil transferred them to Bountiful, Utah where they had Steve Davis, Glenda Smith, Rick Davis and Allen Davis. The company then transferred Glen to Baker City, Oregon. Glen and Elmoyne then added Sandra to their family, making five children. The family then purchased property on Wingville Road to build a house, raise cattle, sheep, milk cows and to involve the kids in 4-H. The family was always active in the 4-H program and also in the L.D.S. church functions following the great example of their parents.
In 1979, Glen married Elnora Rawlings (Elly) in the Ogden Temple. Elly had three children, Mark Luker, Kathy Perrenoud and Mike Davis. Glen and Elly raised cows, goats and registered poodles. Glen retired from Chevron in 1986, there he spent his last 6 months of work in Pasco, Washington.
In 1986, Glen and Elly were called to the Bagio Philippines mission and served there for 2 years, loving every minute of it. In 1997, they called Hewitt Holcomb Park home, as they lived there on the river as care takers.
Glen’s interests were hunting and fishing, bowling and golfing. He served as primary teacher, scout master, Sunday school teacher, Branch President and High Priest.
