Glenna Parker Boehme

Young Ward, Utah: Glenna Parker Boehme, 78, passed away on Tuesday, October 3, 2006 at her home.
She was born on April 21, 1928 in Lanark, Bear Lake County, Idaho. She was a daughter of Joseph W. Parker and Suzy Fontella Orr Parker of Millville, Utah, and one of nine brothers and sisters. Glenna married David George Boehme on April 21, 1948, their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple.
The children of this union are as follows: David R. (Sherry) of Nevada, William Joel (Barbera) of Ogden, Alan H. (Geraldine) of Wellsville, Stephen J. (Odee) of Riverton, Kenneth J. (Peggy) of Hyrum, Duaine A. (Carol) of Richmond, Carol of Young Ward, Annette (Richard) Osterlin of Young Ward, Robert P. (Ruth) of Wellsville, and Rodney P. (Dorothy) of Hyrum. She is the grandmother of 61 grandchildren, 85 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David George Boehme; a son, William Joel Boehme; a grandson, Clint Boehme; two great-granddaughters, Ruby Jane McMullin and Madison Faith Boehme.
In her young life she worked on the farm and then she went to work as a waitress and started her family in Paris, Idaho. Later they bought a farm in Blacksmith Fork Hollow in Nibley, Utah. They sold the farm and moved into Hyrum and went into the restaurant business, they later added another restaurant and she became very adept in cooking and pie making. She was famous for her hamburgers. She loved her family and they were always number one in her life. She loved to go camping, fishing and hunting with her family.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 6, 2006 at 1:00 PM in the College / Young Ward Chapel, 2394 West 2200 South, Logan, Utah. A viewing will be held on Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 East Center Street, and prior to services on Friday from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM.. Interment will be in the Millville Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.allenmortuaries.net
